Breaking Ground on the House

May 21, 2020

The Campus House family said goodbye to the Mushroom––our home for 50+ years––during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the House was literally brought down, the author of Hebrews’ words settled in us with greater clarity and gratitude: “Only unshakeable things will remain” (Heb. 12:27).

God is unchanging. He is our firm foundation, whose faithful character has steadied us amidst the shaking.

By His grace, He has allowed the demolition process and construction plans for a new House to remain on schedule. As we write, the lot has been cleared, and we’re nearing the time to break ground!

We’re disappointed that we can’t gather in person to celebrate this exciting milestone, but we invite you to be on the lookout for a special groundbreaking video in early June. Our staff will share more about the project on-site and encourage you to pray and dream about how God might want to shift the spiritual and cultural landscape of Purdue’s campus for decades to come.

If you receive emails from us, you’ll find a link to the video directly in your inbox. Otherwise, you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates. We are deeply grateful for your support and look forward to celebrating the new House with you in a few weeks!
